Mission Statement
The mission of the Montgomery County Dragons and Lady Dragons is to provide a transformative basketball experience that empowers athletes through competition, character development, and career pathways. Our focus is on fostering elite talent while building strong ties with the Montgomery County community through mentorship, outreach, and athletic excellence.
Our Purpose
We exist to serve as a beacon of opportunity for aspiring basketball players across Division 1 through Division 4, offering a clear and supported journey from grassroots fundamentals to professional and international basketball careers. By combining competitive play with personal and academic development, the Dragons and Lady Dragons aim to elevate young athletes both on and off the court.
Our purpose is to:
Develop local and regional talent into collegiate and professional athletes
Educate players on the expectations, work ethic, and professionalism required to succeed in the sports industry
Provide a family-first atmosphere where players feel supported at every level of their growth
Vision for the Players
At the core of the Dragons and Lady Dragons program is the Path to the Pros initiative — a player-centric development model that gives every athlete the tools, exposure, and structure to succeed. Whether players are aiming for college scholarships, overseas contracts, or professional leagues like the NBL-US, our program guides them every step of the way.
Players will benefit from:

FIBA-style rules and gameplay to enhance adaptability
Weekly practices focused on fundamentals and IQ development

Our teams will represent the voice and culture of Willis, Conroe, The Woodlands, and surrounding areas with integrity, passion, and community spirit.
Program Structure: Division 1–4
